- Behind The Scenes
The Sparky Behind The Mask
She is a Journeyman Electrician and proud member of IBEW Local 640 in Phoenix, Arizona. She is also a Native American woman from the Navajo Nation who has built her career through hard work, determination, and a willingness to take on challenges across multiple skilled trades.
Throughout her career, she has worked for several union and non-union electrical contractors in the Phoenix area, including CPR Electric, DP Electric, Dynalectric, Cannon & Wendt Electric, and Rosendin Electric. Since relocating to Phoenix in 2018, she spent nearly four years working for a non-union electrical contractor before returning to the union in 2025.
Before putting down roots in Phoenix, she traveled throughout the United States, working in a variety of trades and industries. Her experience extends beyond electrical work and includes roles as a welder, rigger, ironworker helper, and millwright. These opportunities allowed her to develop a diverse skill set while gaining valuable experience on projects across the country.
Despite exploring several trades, she ultimately returned to the profession where her journey began—electrical work. Following in the footsteps of her father, she chose a different path than her mother, who dedicated her career to serving others as a Registered Nurse. Today, she continues to build upon her family’s legacy through her work as a skilled tradeswoman and electrician.
